Pharmacy Technician Tests
Pharmacy technician tests are valuable tools for exam preparation especially in addition to training. They provide a good indication of areas that you may be weak in determined by the questions you might have gotten wrong, which would call for review of those areas.
What exactly are pharmacy technician tests and how can they help you?
Pharmacy technician tests are exactly what they sound. They are practice tests that you can attempt before taking the real PTCB exam. The score you receive on a practice test will give you a reasonable idea of where you stand as far as your weak and strong areas, with the weak areas requiring review before you take the real exam.
Most pharmacy technician tests will be multiple choice, this is the format the PTCB uses and will be timed, the PTCB gives you a longer time period to complete the test, pharmacy technician tests may not, which is good because if you’ve really studied well; than you should be able to answer the questions fairly quickly(this does not mean you should rush through the exam) on the practice test which means when you sit for the real test/exam you’ll have time to complete the test by answering every single question as well as go back and review your answers before submitting the exam.
Good tests like good training programs should cover all aspects of pharmacy.
Each time you attempt a test your score will reveal areas that you may need more review in, you might think you know certain areas well but the test you take will reveal the truth.
